This incident caused the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two more people have been arrested in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

These detentions come after a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Officers detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the scene. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of individuals hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that police said was isolated and not considered an act of terror - caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
